Reimagining transportation to your doctor appointments

As the largest provider of non-emergency transportation services, Logisticare’s business surpassed $1.x billion in revenue thanks to the increasing client demands from Medicaid Enrollment expansion and high customer satisfaction ratings. Seniors are the largest consumers of healthcare today because aging carries with it the need for more frequent care, which means more visits to your doctor. Today, one in seven Americans are 65 years old or older, and most of these seniors remain active and living in their home or local community, and with the increasing trends towards ‘on demand’ transportation, the way the elderly get their doctor appointments is changing rapidly.

In 2015, we launched a number of new service offerings and mobile applications to respond to the growing on-demand transportation needs of our customers.

Launched On Demand and Web-Based Trip Request App

In 2015, Logisticare also introduced the new LogistiCare Trip Manager app in Georgia, a mobile and web-based transportation request service which allows members to manage and cancel trips from their smartphone and their computers.

Created New Data Monitoring Tools

Logisticare dramatically reduced the number of incidents of fraud and abuse with the adoption of a new data discovery tool—QlikSense—that houses customer data in active memory, allowing 130 million lines of data and links our dashboard and discovery.

Invested in New Call Center Technology

Logisticare invested over $9.5 million new technology capabilities, and introduced a new cloud-based call center technology that creates greater efficiencies in resource deployment and call time response across markets. By creating a state-of-the art call center system, Logisticare improved its overall client satisfaction ratings by dramatically shortened patient wait times.
