Carter Pate

Interim Chief Executive Officer, LogistiCare

Carter Pate is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Carter Pate, LLC, a consulting firm which he founded in 2014. Since 2017, he has served as the Interim CEO of The Providence Service Corporation (NASDAQ: PRSC). From 2011 to 2014, Mr. Pate served as the Chief Executive Officer of MV Transportation, Inc., which is the largest independent fixed-route and paratransit company in the United States. Prior to joining MV, he was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC, from 1996 to 2011, when he retired as the Global and U.S. Managing Partner for the Healthcare and Government Contracting practice, and prior to that, he was the U.S. Managing Partner, Advisory Line of Service and prior a Corporate Restructuring Partner.

Mr. Pate has been the Chairman of the Board of BioScrip, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIOS) since 2015 and previously served as its board’s audit committee chair. Mr. Pate was recently elected as an independent director to RLH Corporation’s (NYSE: RLH) board of directors. Carter has been a director of Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADES) since 2016 and serves as a member of its board’s audit committee. Mr. Pate has a Master of Science in Accounting and Information Management from the University of Texas at Dallas and holds various financial certifications including being a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.

Kevin Dotts

Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Dotts was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Providence and LogistiCare in August 2018. Mr. Dotts has over 30 years of experience as a finance and accounting executive at multiple technology companies, serving 14 of those years in the position of chief financial officer. Before joining Providence, Mr. Dotts served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Birch Communications, Inc. and its successor, Fusion Connect, Inc. since February 2017. Prior to that Mr. Dotts held CFO roles at Internap, Culligan International and Earthlink. Mr. Dotts began his career at General Electric Company (“GE”) and served in increasingly senior financial roles during his 15 years of tenure at GE. Mr. Dotts received a bachelor’s degree in finance and computer systems management from Drexel University.

Suzanne G. Smith

Chief Accounting Officer

Suzanne G. Smith was appointed Chief Accounting Officer of Providence and LogistiCare in February 2019. Ms. Smith has more than two decades of accounting and finance experience in a variety of industries. She most recently served as Chief Accounting Officer of Cumulus Media from May 2017 until February 2019. Previous appointments include Vice President and Corporate Controller of staffing firm, EmployBridge, interim Chief Financial Officer for Acuity, and Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of Serta Simmons Bedding. Ms. Smith graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology and received a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University. She is a CPA licensed in Georgia.

Kathryn Stalmack

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Kathryn Stalmack was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Providence and LogistiCare in August 2019. Ms. Stalmack is responsible for all legal matters relevant to the company including contracting, litigation, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. She recently served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of BioScrip, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOS) since 2015, the largest independent provider of infusion and home care management solutions. Prior to that, Ms. Stalmack was a shareholder within the Healthcare Practice group at Polsinelli, PC and a healthcare litigator at Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smith. Ms. Stalmack holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
